Concentrating on personal injury matters with a particular focus on representing first responders, veterans, and their families. His professional background as an attorney, law enforcement officer, investigator, and veteran provides him with a unique perspective when advocating for individuals who have suffered injury in the line of duty or through the negligence of others.

His experience in personal injury litigation has strengthened his ability to evaluate claims, develop effective case strategies, and pursue meaningful results for his clients.

Paul received his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo School of Law. While in law school, he gained additional legal experience as a law clerk at the Law Office of Elizabeth A. Landwehr, Esq., where he worked on matrimonial matters and developed a strong foundation in litigation and client advocacy.

Paul's combination of legal, investigative, law-enforcement, and military experience informs his commitment to providing knowledgeable, practical, and dedicated representation to first responders, veterans, and others who have been injured.

Client Testimonials

“I recently hired Christina Tretter-Herriger from VanDette Law to handle the sale of a property and purchase of a new home. There isn’t enough I can say to praise her. Christina was easy to reach, knowledgeable, and completely on top of every detail. She responded promptly to questions via email, text, and calls. Her dedication was evident throughout a frustrating, time-sensitive situation. Her fees were very reasonable.”

— Kurt M.

“The best people you can hire in Western New York for real estate transactions. Honest, hardworking, and always looking out for their clients. I will always recommend Christina Tretter-Herriger, who works tirelessly and is consistently available to support her clients.”

— Mohammad S.

“I had been trying to close a real estate deal for 16 months with another attorney and was at risk of losing it. I was referred to Christina on a Tuesday, and she helped close the transaction by Thursday—two days later. She is one of the most effective real estate attorneys I have seen in action. If you’re not using Christina for your next deal, you’re doing yourself a disservice.”
